Africa Union Trading Company Congratulates Amb. Boakai On His Victory
Executives of the Africa Union Trading Company have expressed words of congratulations to Ambassador Joseph N. Boakai, President-elect of the Republic of Liberia, for his victory in the just-ended presidential run-off election, held on November 14, 2023.
Eric Oppong Twum, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company, noted that his company hopes that the new administration of Ambassador Boakai will expand trade by not monopolizing the importation of key commodities, but rather creating competitive markets for citizens to have options when it comes to trade and commerce.
He made the statement upon the pronouncement of the final election results by the National Elections Commission (NEC) on November 20, 2023.
Twum promised that his company will do all things under its supervision to enhance the growth of Liberia in trade and commerce.
He said his company’s aim is geared toward the establishment of factories for processing of unfinished goods and the creation of jobs, among others, in the country.
According to him, Africa Union Trading Company Incorporated is a non-political and non-religious company that focuses on capacity building and economic development for African nations.
He said the company provides exclusive trip packages tailored for vacation in Liberia, Rwanda, Kenya and Sierra Leone. In every trip, he said, the group provides a package that includes visa, airfare, food, transportation, lodging and tourism.
