The All Liberian Party (ALP) has officially endorsed the second-term bid of President George M. Weah and the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC); Cynthia Quinisier reports.

During the endorsement ceremony, held at the ALP headquarters, Old Road, the ALP Political Leader, Benoni Urey, said the party fully supports President Weah in the November 14 run-off election because of the many development initiatives he has undertaken in the Country.

Urey assured the All Liberian Party’s commitment to work vigorously to ensure that President Weah is re-elected, and expressed confidence that President Weah will continue to meet the needs and aspirations of the Liberian people.

Receiving the endorsement, CDC Standard Bearer and President of the Republic, George Weah, lauded the All Liberian Party (ALP) for officially endorsing his re-election bid.

President Weah said the endorsement is not just a testament of his commitment to developing the lives of Liberians, but also a reminder of the responsibility that lies ahead.

The Liberian Leader expressed excitement over the reconciliation between the two political parties.  He said it gladdens his heart to finally reunite with the ALP, noting that the both parties have come a long way.
