Man Found Dead In Motel Room In Paynesville

A man, 56 years old, identified as William Ireland, was discovered dead in a motel room late Saturday in Paynesville, outskirts of Monrovia.

The motel, Jomotee, located a few steps away from the Zone 5 Police Station, was a place of attraction following the discovery of the corps of the fallen William Ireland who, according to report, had gone to the motel to have some rest a day before his death.

Authorities at the motel have remained quiet and have not revealed who accompanied the victim into his room, but told newsmen that the late victim entered the motel and was indoor. He did not come outside until they (motel agents) decided to search for him.

The securities later noticed, during the search, that his door was still closed but they were not hearing any sound from within, which led to suspicion.

They later ran to the police to ask for help to open the door. When they did, they found the man lying dead in his assigned room.

Following the discovery, the Crime Services Division (CSD) at the Zone 5 Base (Police Station) launched an investigation into the matter to establish the circumstances surrounding the victim’s death.

Meanwhile, when contacted, the family refused the claim that the victim was in the motel with his concubine (lover/girlfriend), as he was a family man.
