Montserrado County’s district #8 Representative-Aspirant, Isaac K. Krah, has challenged Liberian parents to protect their children against illicit drugs in Liberia.
Aspirant Krah stated that illicit drugs are damaging the future of youth across the country, but the children who are coming-up should be prevented and protected from their harm.
Aspirant Krah made the statement recently at the 20th graduation exercise of the Cornerstone International Academy, held in Monrovia.
He asserted that parents have a crucial role to play if their children are to be successful in their education sojourn. According to him, parents should exhibit good behavior in the society for their children to emulate.
Aspirant Krah underscored that children are the future of Liberia and their parents, and so they should not be taken for granted.
He explained that if parents neglect to discipline their children at the early age, it could be difficult to exercise corrective measures later.
He maintained that early childhood education is the foundation to enhance solid education for children, and therefore should not be compromised.
Aspirant Krah emphasized that parents should do everything possible to educate their children, noting that education is one of the factors that lead to success in life. According to him, adequate preparation of their children through the educational system should be prioritized to ensure a bright future for their children.
He warned parents to make the right decision in the pending general and presidential elections, observing that their decision will determine if the nation will move forward or regress.
