The Bible Way Church of Jesus Christ Worldwide Incorporated ended the 70th Holy Annual Convention on Sunday, January 18, 2026 at the Guiding Star Temple, New Kru Town, Bushrod Island, outside Monrovia.

The convention, which brought together 36 churches of the Bible Way Church from across Liberia, was held under the theme, “We Have Come To Say Thank You”, Psalm 95:1—3. It started from January 11, 2026 and ended on January 18, 2026.

According to Bishop Aloysius Nimely Sr. of the Diocesan Bishop and Chairman of the Foreign Mission, the Executive Committee of the church has made several appointments to strengthen the growth and development of churches in Bible Way.

Bishop Nimely stated that those appointed should be dedicated and committed to their duties and avoid undermining the pastors in the churches. He emphasized that they should work diligently with their respective bosses to move the churches forward in the things of God. According to him, they should be obedient to those in authority and work with them for the good of the church.

Bishop Nimely maintained the need for all churches to collaborate with their pastors to take them to another level, spiritually and physically, in the body of Christ.

Meanwhile, the Bishop of the Don-Steward Christ Pentecostal Church, Bishop Torgbor Nah Dixon, said Liberians should be grateful to God for all He has done for them.

Bishop Dixon stated that it is not good to be ungrateful to God, and so they should continue to be thankful to Him. He added that God has done great things for the nation and its people.

He pointed out that Liberians should know God for themselves, then they will not trust in anything but God, who is able to do everything possible for His people. He thus admonished members of the Bible Way Church to continue to be thankful to God.

Bishop Dixon emphasized that if they remain committed to God in 2026, major transformations for the betterment of their church will take place.
