As part of efforts to help contribute to the disabled community in Liberia, Bishop Nimely J. Donyen, Independent Catholic Church of Liberia (ICCL), and partner, Compassion for Life, based in the United States of America, have provided US$5,000 to the Mission of Hope for the Disabled in Montserrado County’s electoral district #2.

The ICCL Bishop informed the public that when his partner, Compassion for Life, visited him recently in Liberia they paid a visit to the headquarters of the Mission of Hope for the Disabled, at which time they promised US$20,000.

According to him, Compassion for Life has made available the amount US$5,000 to the Mission of Hope for the Disabled, which was presented to the institution by the head of ICCL over the weekend.

The Bishop of the Independent Catholic Church added that the balance USD$15,000 will be sent in months to come.

Bishop Donyen, making the presentation of the US$5,000, said it was their way of identifying with members of the Mission of Hope for the Disabled in district #2, Montserrado County.

Over the years Bishop Donyen and partner have been providing humanitarian assistance to citizens of electoral district #2.

The bishop has been in the business of giving loans to thousands of individuals across the district, with some of them making headway in the society. He has also contributed to the health and education sectors of the district.

Making remarks at the presentation of the money, Victor Wilson lauded Bishop Donyen and partner for the gesture and prayed that the Lord Almighty God continues to bless them.
