Bishop Tarr Becomes Archbishop

Bishop Matilda G. Tarr, the wife of Apostle Tarr of the Rhema Christian Ministries International Incorporated,  has become the latest female Archbishop in the Republic of Liberia.

   The position of an archbishop in Christianity is one of the highest ranking positions.

    Recently, between February 17—19, 2023 Bishop Tarr was consecrated as an Archbishop in the Federal Republic of Nigeria, West Africa.

   Her Lordship Bishop is an internationally acclaimed speaker and Christian books writer at home and abroad.

   Archbishop Tarr is a native Liberian and a meticulous woman of God who has been in the ministry for years, with vast experience in preaching, teaching and counseling in the Word of God.

   Archbishop Tarr has obtained many degrees from local and international schools. To name few: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Christian counseling  from the Vision  International Christian University of the United States of America,  master’s degree in Christian counseling from the Evangle Christian  Seminary, and a doctoral degree in Christian counseling and human resource development from Life Leadership University of the U.S.

   Her Lordship Bishop is the founder of a number of key Christian organizations in Africa. To name few: Destiny Women International, African Women for Jesus, Full Gospel Women, Pastor Wives Forum of Liberia among others.

   When asked about her new title, she said she feels very proud as a woman chosen by God among her male counterparts.
