The Bukonjadeh Group of Companies has called for national reconciliation to foster peace and stability in Liberia.

According to the Chief Executive Officer of Bukonjadeh Group of Companies, Elton Johns, national reconciliation and peace are critical toward maintaining national growth and developments in the country.

Johns made the call Tuesday in Monrovia, as he observed that division among Liberians has become alarming in recent time.

According to him, Liberians need to come together in order to transform the socio-economic development of the nation.

He noted that Liberians have been divided on political lines as well as socio-economic status, which undermine the unity of the people.

Johns emphasized that Liberians should promote the good image of the nation and its national leaders to enhance the coming-in of more foreign investments into the country.

He maintained that there are divisions among the people at various places of meeting in the society, which is causing relationship problems among family members.

He explained that the division trends can also be found in the churches and mosques, noting that no country can move ahead in socio-economic development if the people are divided at all fronts in the society.

Johns emphasized that Liberians should respect their national leaders, whether present or past, and honor them with dignity.
