The Chief Executive Officer of the Bukonjadeh Group of Companies, Elton D. Johns, has condemned the Tuesday, December 17, 2024 violence between protesters and officers of the Liberia National Police (LNP).
Johns stated that the act of violence undermines the peace and security of the country, and Liberians should therefore desist from it.

Johns made the condemnation in Monrovia when the Capitol Building was gutted by fire early Wednesday morning. He stated that the Ministry of Justice should institute a speedy investigation to bring the culprits to book as soon as possible.

He noted that the renovation of the Capitol Building will cost government huge money, which is not a good sign for the nation’s democracy, and urged that all well-meaning Liberians condemn the act in the strongest term.

The Bukonjadeh boss emphasized that Liberian youth should realize now that violence has not helped in the development of Liberia; rather, it has always created chaotic situations. He pointed out that such situations prevent foreign investors from coming to invest in the country.

He lamented that Liberian youth should not continue to allow politicians to use them for their selfish ambitions; instead, they should strive to maintain the peace and stability of the state.

Meanwhile, the management of Bukonjadeh Group of Companies held a small get-together for its customers in celebration of the Christmas season.

According to the Legal Counsel of the Bukonjadeh Group of Companies, Cllr. James Nippy, the company will ensure that delinquent customers restitute the company’s money, as some customers want to take the company for granted in regards to paying their loan.

Cllr. Nippy observed that, comes 2025 Bukonjadeh will ensure that delinquent customers are weeded out of the system.

Also speaking during the get-together with customers at the Bukonjadeh head office at Rose Garden Plaza, CEO Johns expressed thanks and appreciation to God for sustaining the business and their customers during the year 2024.

He explained that Bukonjadeh is a Liberian business in the microfinance sector, helping to empower Liberians financially through a microloan scheme.
