CDA’s Deputy Registrar: “Youth Development Is Key To Nation’s Growth”
The Deputy Registrar General for Program and Youth Development, Cooperative Development Agency (CDA), Mohammed K. Jalloh, has emphasized that youth development is one of the key factors that drives a nation’s development and growth.
Jalloh made the statement on Friday, September 3, 2021 at the program marking the induction ceremony of CDA’s newly appointed officials, where he was inducted as the Deputy Registrar for Program and Youth Development of the agency.
President George M. Weah recently made additional appointments in government, affecting the Ministry of Information, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Cooperative Development Agency, local government structures, etc.
Making remarks, Deputy Registrar Jalloh vowed to ensure that youths are given greater chances and opportunities through agriculture trainings and marketing skills. “The Cooperative Development Agency is a place full of great potential. Let me again thank all those efficient staffs who made this place a place of great opportunities,” Jalloh acknowledged.
According to him, the agency can only move forward if they work as a team, as their appointments there are intended to help implement President Weah’s “Pro-Poor Agenda for Prosperity and Development”.
“Today is a day of rebirth, cooperation and new beginning; a day that awakens our minds to serve, and our service to our people should be the service of hope and aspiration. The President has given us a task to hawk the canoe to a direction of success for our generation; as such, let us serve diligently,” Jalloh noted.
Jalloh used the occasion to acknowledge the Almighty for His grace upon him, and extended thanks and appreciation to H.E. President George M. Weah for the confidence reposed in him to serve in the capacity of Deputy Registrar for Program and Youth Development.
The induction ceremony for the CDA officials was held at the agency’s office, SKD Boulevard, and brought together the newly appointed officials, staffs and technical officers of the agency, invited guests and members of the fourth estate.
CDA officials inducted on Friday were Eugene S. Joboe Jr., Deputy Register General for Community Services; and Mohammed Jalloh, Deputy Register General for Program and Youth Development. The agency is headed by Regina Sokan Teah, Registrar General.
