The Youth League of the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) has described the Chairman of the Unity Party, Rev. Luther Tarpeh, as a “false prophet” who has chosen to blind his eyes to the mammoth gains being made by President George M. Weah and the CDC government.

Speaking during a press conference on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, the CDC youth league disclosed that the Weah government has made much gains, but the UP Chairman has chosen to spew out innuendos instead.

The statement comes in response to Rev. Tarpeh’s recent remarks, in which he described President George M. Weah’s speech at the 77th UN General Assembly as “full of deception”.

The youth league claimed that Chairman Tarpeh was among the “seven demons” released by Satan, and called on the Council of Churches to expel Rev. Luther Tarpeh if they want to uphold their core values and integrity.

“The Revolutionary National youth League joins the president and calls on all relevant authorities to address this situation as soon as possible. We see this impending situation as a signal of emergency, which must be treated with the utmost priority,” the group said.
