Chamber Predicts Weah’s Run-Off Victory In Pleebo
House Speaker Dr. Bhofal Chambers has predicted that President George Manneh Weah will take the lion share of the votes in his district in November 14 run-off election.
The Speaker said over ninety percent of voters in Pleebo Sodoken District Maryland County were prepared to vote for the President’s second-term bid.
He underscored that the gesture was in appreciation of the President’s continued assistance to the people of the district, particularly in the area of health and education.
Presenting a modern ambulance to the citizens on behalf of the Chief Executive during a CDC rally held in Pleebo on the eve of the run-off, the Speaker described President Weah’s performance over the last six year as excellent.
He emphasized that despite the delays in the shipment of the ambulance due to unforeseen circumstance, its arrival will help resolve some of the pressing medical problems in the district.
The Speaker said the donation will go to the Pleebo Medical Center in Maryland, which is badly in need of logistical support to convey patients to the hospital for treatment.
Speaking further, the head of the 54th Legislature urged Marylanders to join what he called “Operation Noah Ark”, and help save their district from disaster.
The Speaker indicated further that the struggle made by the people of the district in defense of democracy will only yield fruits under a CDC-led government.
