The Deputy Minister for Commerce and Trade, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Wilmot Reeves, has challenged graduates of Bluecrest University to remain committed to nation-building.

Minister Reeves stated that the 11th graduating class of Bluecrest University Liberia should create opportunities instead of wait for opportunities.

Minister Reeves made the statement at the graduation ceremony of Bluecrest University held at the Harvest Intercontinental Church in Congo Town.

According to him, the graduates should be able to change the narrative by creating jobs for themselves and others in the society, rather than seeking opportunities.

He emphasized the importance of adopting a mindset focused on transformation, rather than negativity.
Reeves acknowledged that the students have the power to shape not only their own destinies but also the future of Liberia and the world.

He noted that the education the graduates have received serves as a launchpad for greatness, and that their degrees are not just certificates but passports to a world filled with possibilities, innovation, entrepreneurship, and influence.

The deputy minister noted that Liberia’s transformation depends not on the government’s ability to create jobs but on the graduates’ capacity to create businesses, drive innovation, and stimulate economic growth.

Minister Reeves expressed gratitude to the parents for their unwavering support, sacrifices and encouragement, which he said have formed the foundation upon which the graduates have built their dreams.

He urged the graduates to take advantage of regional and global market opportunities.
