Dsie Wilson Foundation To Be Launched
Dsie Wilson Foundation, a non-profit making and non- governmental charity organization, is expected to be launched on November 28, 2021 in Monrovia.
According to Elizabeth Kumba Walloe, the organization’s Executive Director, her charity group came to Liberia in order to buttress national government’s efforts in addressing challenges confronting the well-being of Liberian youth, particularly the less fortunate ones.
She said, predicted upon a survey conducted by the foundation, the young people of Liberia are key components to the growth and development of the nation. She said those referred to as “zogoes” need major attention, as most of them are in the streets because of the lack of support and care.
She made the disclosure during an exclusive interview with the Hot Pepper in Monrovia. The Executive Director further disclosed that her charity group will provide some level of assistance to teachers. She said teachers were selected on the basis that they, too, are very important to the forward-march of Liberia. Walloe stated that teachers are people who contribute to the minds of people, and in this context they believe that Liberian teachers must be prioritized.
Dsie Wilson Foundation is owned by a Liberian who lives in the United States of America. His objective is giving back to his country.
