A veteran journalist and former News Editor of the National Chronicle newspaper, Edward M. Mortee, Sr., has been appointed by the Ministry of Health as the Administrator of the Sass Town Hospital, Grand Kru County Health Team.
“Your appointment is a result of the internal shifting that is currently taking place within the Ministry of Health, and takes effect of September 15, 2021,” Mortee’s appointment letter read.
It is however pointed out that Mortee is entitled to a three-month probation period and, thereafter, will be evaluated by his performance and conduct.
“Congratulations for your preferment, and we look forward to a cordial working relationship and support as well as endeavor to build a resilient health system in our country,” Mortee’s appointment letter continued.
