The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Her Honor Sie-A-Nyene Yuoh, has again brought honor to her country by winning the prestigious International Human Rights Award.

The honor was bestowed on Chief Justice Yuoh by the African Women for Jesus Christ to All Nation, a human rights advocacy group recognized by several countries around the world.

The gesture is in recognition of the invaluable contributions made by the female judge to the development and protection of human dignity on the African content.

The African women movement considered Chief Justice Youh as a strategic partner in the fight against female marginalization and gender-based violence on the globe, a reason for which she was recognized.
The group also took into an account the personal achievements made by the honoree over the years as an outspoken gender advocate and defender of justice in the country.

The seventh edition of the International Human Rights Award was shared with other high-profile individuals in leadership, including politicians, non- governmental organizations and business tycoons, among them is Senate Pro-Tempore Nyonblee Karngar Lawrence, First Lady Kartumu Boakai, Catholic Sister Mary Laurene, and others.
