The Harvest Intercontinental Men-Liberia celebrated its 12th Anniversary on Sunday at the St. Paul Harvest Church on the Bushrod Island.

Speaking during the celebration, the National President of the Harvest Kingsmen, Pastor Cyrus Kaifa Johnson, stated that the men organization will embark on land project to build a retreat, pastoral and recreation center.

Pastor Johnson indicated that the three acres of land is situated on the Roberts International Airport’s highway around the Tower Hill Community.

According to him, the recreation center will enhance the training and conferences of pastors, including the disadvantaged youth in Liberia.

He underscored the need for government officials and permanent citizens to support this project, intended to create a special recreation center.

Pastor Johnson pointed out that the Harvest Kingsmen have engaged into outreach of hospitals, prisons to win the lost at all costs, noting that they visited the Redemption Hospital in New Kru Town and the Buchanan Prison.

Earlier, the Superintendent of the United Pentecostal Church of Liberia, Bishop Dr. Stephen T.Y. Banda, said men in churches should support their pastors financially, spiritually and morally.

Bishop Banda stated that many pastors are suffering in their ministries from the lack of support from men in local churches across the country. He asserted that the support of pastors is critical to enhance the blessings of God on the people.

He noted that some pastors are not effective in their ministries; as a result, men are not playing their roles as men in church.

Bishop Banda emphasized that the more men continue to support their pastors, the more God will ensure that they are blessed.

The celebration brought together Kingsmen of the various Harvest churches across Liberia.
