The Joe Mulbah Center for Journalism and Public Relations (JMC) under the Department of Communication and Media Studies at the University of Liberia has announced that its first aptitude test for the certificate in journalism program is scheduled for Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. on the Capitol Hill campus of the University of Liberia. According to a public notice, the second aptitude test is slated for Saturday, December 16, 2023 at the same time and venue.

The JMC urged all interested persons to pick up an application form prior to sitting the aptitude test. However, the JMC public notice said those interested in the diploma in journalism and the advanced diploma in public relations programs are exempted from the aptitude test, but will instead write a motivational statement.

“As the JMC begins classes in January of 2024, all interested individuals are asked to visit the JMC office at TH-48 on the Capitol Hill Campus of the UL or call 0777-435631/0888-924778/0777-878497/0880-878497,” the notice observedfan?

The JMC urged the public, mainly journalists, to take advantage of these programs and benefit from the technology-based journalism and public relations trainings. “Our instructors are highly motivated journalism and public relations experts,” the notice added.
