Cultural Ambassador, Juli Endee, has vowed to go to ECOWAS Court if her rights as a woman is not restored by the Magisterial Court.

Endee filed a law suit against Prophet Key, a popular Liberian social media orator residing in Morocco, for publicly abusing her in a podcast and posted it on his page. The case, which was before the Magisterial Court Temple of Justice, has been thrown out without her knowledge, according to her. Therefore, she has decided to seek redress at the ECOWAS Court if she cannot get her rights restored to her as a Liberian woman.

Cultural Ambassador Endee wondered how she as a woman can be publicly disgraced, molested by Prophet Key, who is not her husband or fiancée, and allowed to go with impunity by the court.

The case, which began at the Magisterial Court, was thrown out of the court because it lacked merit, she quoted the President’s Legal Advisor, Cllr. Bushuben Keita, as saying.

According to her, she was shocked and dismayed that she was never invited by the court for hearing, but later was told that the case had been thrown out of the court upon the order of the President’s Legal Advisor, Cllr. Keita.

Meanwhile, a group of women last week gathered themselves at the Temple of Justice in a protest to show their solidarity to the Cultural Ambassador, whom they said was not treated with justice by the court. They said justice is for every Liberian, regardless of their status in society.
