Among the many contestants for the seat is the county emerging politician, Johnny Kpehe, whose approval rating has witnessed dramatic rise over the last six months.

Kpehe, a young man with admirable conduct and lifestyle, has promised to overturn the county’s current nightmare and set the stage for speedy recovery if elected to the Liberian Senate.

The Bong County senatorial aspirant, who has travelled throughout the length and breadth of the county to get the approval of the electorate, appears to be making headways, as hundreds have broken ranks with other aspirants to follow him.

The Hot Pepper has learned from credible sources that Kpehe, who has been at the vanguard of protecting the county’s image behind the scene over the years, is amassing support in major cities across the county, including the capital Gbarnga, Salala, Totota, among others.

There are also reports of increasing support from citizens in rural parts of the county, where residents are hoping that his ascendency will help to restore their shattered hope and aspiration.

Reporters who spent weeks touring the county to talk to residents about the election said Kpehe seemed impressed by the response of the residents to his senatorial ambition.

According to information, the aspirant is gaining the support of several opinion leaders in the county, including some of the powerful political elites and traditional leaders ahead of the process next year.

A traditional leader is quoted as saying that the chiefs are convinced, beyond all reasonable doubt, that aspirant Johnny Kpehe will live up to the expectation of his people if elected to the Senate.

Similar conviction, according to information, has been expressed by the county’s youths, who are now leading the campaign for the election of the Aspirant.
