LCLSS Unveils 2023/2024 Academic Activities
Lutheran Church in Liberia School System (LCLSS), one of the oldest and renowned church-based schools operating in Liberia, on September 14, 2023, at the headquarters of the Lutheran Church in Liberia, 13th Street, Monrovia, unveiled 2023/2024 academic year activities.
Providing the objective of the launching and unveiling of the academic year activities, Rev. Eric Sackor Doe, Acting Director for education, Lutheran Church in Liberia, noted that the launching and unveiling ceremony was meant to show the church educational department’s commitment in addressing some of its challenges.
During the unveiling and launching ceremony, the following platforms were displayed through power point presentation before officials and guest at the Lutheran compound: teacher training, school link and website, scheme of work, student handbook 2023/2024, Christian education manual, monitoring and evolution, including the calendar of events for LCLSS.
This session of the program was presented by various individuals representing their institutions within the private sector.
Each of the participants, during the unveiling process, was given the chance to explain the importance of their institution to officials and guest at the program. This portion of the program was very exciting to the public which graced the occasion.
For his part, the presiding Bishop of the Lutheran Church in Liberia, Rev. G. Victor Padmore, was excited following the various PowerPoint presentations that he promised to introduce the system being introduced to the church educational system at the level of the church leadership for the purpose of accountability for all.
According to Bishop Padmore, the new data system will enable record on time and availability. He used the ceremony to call on Liberians at home to avoid any act of violence during this electoral period, noting that violence has in no way helped Liberia and Liberians.
