The Anti-Robbery Unit of the Liberia National Police (LNP) has arrested, investigated, and formally charged two suspects identified as Shadrach Dingwall and Philip W. D.B. Randy.

The suspects were apprehended on February 15, 2026, at Bardnerville’s intersection while wearing full military camouflage uniforms and falsely presenting themselves as members of the Armed Forces of Liberia (AFL).

According to police report, the suspects pepper-sprayed a victim identified as Frank Roberts and made off with his Bajaj motorbike. Investigation further reveals that the suspects had allegedly been terrorizing residents in a number of communities impersonating as military personnel.

The accused have been charged with robbery, theft of property, impersonation, and criminal conspiracy. They have been forwarded to court for prosecution in accordance with Liberian law.
