LNP Releases Road Traffic Accident Statistics for September 2024

The Public Safety Division of the Liberia National Police (LNP) has released its road traffic accident statistics for September 2024, recording one hundred fifty-seven (157) accident cases, with twenty-three (23) deaths (20 males and 3 females).

   The accident report captured one hundred and forty-four (144) bodily injuries (133 males and 11 females), among which are eighty (80) operators, fifty-two (52) occupants and twelve (12) pedestrians.

   According to the report, two hundred and forty-nine (249) vehicles were involved in accidents during the month under review, with forty-five (45) vehicles being badly damaged.

   Six (6) cases have been sent to court, sixty-one (61) cases withdrawn, and ninety (90) cases pending police action.

   Meanwhile, the Liberia National Police (LNP) has urged all road users to continue adhering to the Vehicle and Traffic Law of Liberia.
