Cogent information received by the Hot Pepper has revealed that report circulating in some media outlets that the US visa of Foreign Minister, H.E. Amb. Dee-Maxwell Saah Kemayah, Sr. was revoked is false and malicious, only intended to spew out misinformation to smear the hard-earned character of Minister Kemayah. According to a high-placed source close to Foreign Minister Kemayah, the Foreign Minister underwent a minor surgery at a London clinic, is fast recovering and may be discharged from the clinic soon, following which he will be back in the country by the end of the week. The source said Foreign Minister Kemayah sent a note verbal to the US embassy informing them that Deputy Minister for Administration, Thelma E. Duncan Sawyer, was nominated by the Dean of the Cabinet to form part of the delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to participate and represent Minister Kemayah in all meetings at the 78th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) Summit in New York, USA. The source said Foreign Minister Kemayah is in a London clinic where he is undergoing treatment, and is fast responding.
