The National Chairman of the ruling Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC), Mulbah K. Morlu, has called on partisans and supporters of CDC to rally for President George M. Weah’s second term. Speaking to a team of journalists at a press conference on Wednesday at the party’s headquarters, Chairman Morlu said the support of the government is in the hands of Liberians to give President Weah a second term.

Chairman Morlu disclosed that on December 17, 2022 all partisans are to gather together on the ground of the headquarters to petition President Weah for his second term presidency in order to continue his development projects.

Chairman Morlu pleaded with supporters to repeat history for the re-election of President Weah.

“We come to plead with our people that the time is near to repeat history, to redo instrumentally what you did in 5 years ago. I am convinced that if today was elections, President Weah, who won 14 counties in 2017, would win 15 counties in the election.

According to him, the CDC did not come with arrogance. “We are humble, even in achievement,” he stated.

He said they are grateful to the people who brought them to the helm of power. “Because of your patience this government has been able to utilize the space to construct infrastructure,” he continued.

Mulbah Morlu said because of Liberians’ support and patience, the country is gradually transforming, more than ever before.

He called on the Strategic Communications Committee of the party to work ahead of the 2023. Some of the committee members are Minister Nathaniel F. McGill, head of committee, Mayor Jefferson T Koijee, Mobilization Chair, Dr. Samora Wolokollie, head of ways means and finance, Anderson Chea, head of media, etc.
