NASSCORP’s dedicated regional hub in Tubmanburg, Bomi County

The National Social Security and Welfare Corporation (NASSCORP) has dedicated a modern structure as its sub-branch in Bomi County. The structure will be used as the corporation’s regional hub for the Western Cluster: Bomi, Grand Cape Mount and Gbarpolu counties.

The hub comprises of a residence for the regional director and staff, and the banking department and staff.

The construction of the hub, which began about three years ago, has finally come to completion, at a cost of US$400,000 (four hundred thousand United States dollars).

The project is among many other projects completed by Dewitt vonBallmoos while serving as Director General of NASSCORP.

The dedication ceremony was held on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 during President George Manneh Weah’s stay in that county while on the second phase of his nationwide tour.

Director General vonBallmoos honored President Weah with the opportunity to perform the cutting of the ribbon to the building, which the President graciously did, in the presence of the First Lady, Clar Marie Weah, officials of government and the media.
