Mr. Elton Johns, CEO, Bukonjadeh Group of Companies
SHARE

The Chief Executive Officer of the Bukonjadeh Group of Companies, Elton Johns, has clarified that he has no intention of contesting as a representative candidate in Sinoe County come 2029.

Johns stated that his contribution towards the development of the county is not intended for political gain but to help the people, as well as the growth and development of Sinoe County.

The Bukonjadeh boss made the clarification Tuesday in Monrovia, as it has been alleged in some quarters that he is eyeing one district in Sinoe County.

He asserted that those who are the authorities in Sinoe County at the Legislature and Executive should prioritize the socio-economic development of the county, noting that Sinoe has been underdeveloped for a long time.

He indicated that if the legislators of Sinoe County refuse to prioritize the growth and development of the county rather than seeking their selfish ambitions at the expense of the people, he will campaign against their re-election in the 2029 presidential and legislative elections.

Johns underscored that the people of Sinoe County desire improved living condition for their children, and not just for a few people who are in authority.

He said politicians from Sinoe County should not be afraid of his little contributions to the county, but if they do not work in the interest of the people and the county “we will tell people not to vote them again”.

According to him, he is not a partisan of any political party, but he supports the effort of past and current government to foster the growth and development of Liberia, adding that the developments of the country will benefit every Liberian.

He noted that if Liberians work together it will go a long way in enhancing the transformation of Liberia in the near future.

Johns pointed out that Liberians should maintain the peace and stability of the nation, emphasizing that the peace in Liberia is still fragile.
