The President of the Republic of Liberia, His ExcellencyPresident Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., has sent a message of congratulations to H.E. Bassirou Diomaye Faye, President-elect of the Republic of Senegal.
According to a Foreign Ministry release, President Boakai, on behalf of the government and people of Liberia and in his own name, extended heartfelt congratulations to President-elect Faye on his successful election to his country’s highest office.
He assured his Senegalese counterpart of his constant readiness to work with him in maintaining and consolidating the excellent multifarious relations existing between the two countries and peoples.
The Liberian leader then wished President-elect Faye every success in the discharge of his lofty duties, prayingthat the Grand Architect of the universe grants him the wisdom and fortitude to lead the great people of Senegal to prosperity and happiness.
