President George Manneh Weah has congratulated Gustavo Francisco Petro Urrego, President-Elect of the Republic of Colombia, on his election as the 31st President of that country.

   In his message to his Colombian counterpart, the Liberian leader expressed hope that the people of Colombia will continue to enjoy the blessings of peace, unity and prosperity under the astute leadership of President Gustava Francisco Petro Urrego.

   President Weah said he also looks forward to working closely with President Gustavo Francisco Petro Urrego in deepening the two countries’ existing bilateral relationship for the mutual interest of both countries and peoples.
