In a significant step towards establishing its national headquarters, the Press Union of Liberia (PUL) has announced that the unveiling of its comprehensive headquarters construction plan is scheduled for November 28, 2025.

This landmark event will include a fundraising dinner, aimed at engaging a diverse array of dignitaries from government, political parties, the private and business sectors, international diplomatic circles, civil society, and both eminent and ordinary citizens.

To facilitate the coordination and execution of activities leading up to this pivotal fundraising dinner, the PUL has appointed an esteemed group of members to the Programs and Planning Committee.

This committee will report directly to the Steering Committee on Resource Mobilization and Partnership Building. The members include Hassan Kiawu, Chairman; Agatha Thompson Venn, Co-chairperson; Oretha Bundoo Seh, Secretary; Siatta Scott Johnson, Member; Rose Stubblefield, Member; Zoquay Besolow Konneh, Member; Vasta Tarlue, Member; Florence Flomo, Member; Dorcas Gboerreh-Boe, Member; J. Korvah Beyan, Member; Necus Andrews, Member; and Josephine Ogbodu, Member.

The Programs and Planning Committee will collaborate closely with the National Steering Committee on Resource Mobilization and Partnership Building, chaired by Estelle Liberty, to orchestrate and implement the fundraising unveiling dinner for the construction of the PUL national headquarters.

The PUL is optimistic that, through unified leadership and a collective commitment to excellence, the necessary resources will be mobilized to construct the Stanton Peabody Media House.

This headquarters will serve as a vital foundation for promoting high standards in journalism, professional ethical practices, digital innovations, and overall media development in Liberia.
