The Secretariat of the Monrovia Office of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has disclosed that the registration for WASSCE for Private Candidates (Resitter) 2023’s first series has commenced and will end on Tuesday, January 31, 2023.

According to WAEC Office, the fees for the examination are as follows: one–five subjects, L$8,000; six subjects and above, L$12,000, and that the payment of fees for the exam is done through Lonestar Mobile Money App by dialing *156# or *156*4*3*2# and following the instructions.

The examination is expected to be administered in Montserrado, Margibi, Sinoe, Grand Bassa, Bong, Nimba, Bomi, Mary Land and Grand Gedeh counties from Wednesday, February 1, 2023 to Friday, February 17, 2023.

The WAEC office however warned that no candidate should make cash deposit into any bank account or at any of its offices (Congo Town & Tubmanburg) for the exam, as doing so will be at the depositor’s own risk.

Meanwhile, WAEC has informed school authorities that certificates for the following years are ready and can be picked up from its offices in Congo Town: 2020 & 2021, WASSCE for School Candidates; 2018 & 2019, WASSCE for School Candidates & LJHSCE; and 2020 & 2021, Liberia Primary School Certificate Examination.
