Montserrado County’s district #1 Representative, Rugie Yatu Barry, has officially turned over a newly constructed police station to the Liberia National Police (LNP), strengthening security and access to justice in the community.

The privately funded facility is fully furnished and equipped with three motorcycles to enhance patrols and rapid response. The station is located in Louisiana, Montserrado County.

Gregory O. W. Coleman, Inspector General of Police, praised the initiative and assured residents of proper staffing and logistical support. He warned residents against engaging in illegal land transactions and attacking officers.

Natu Oswald Tweh Sr., Minister of Justice, urged residents to protect the facility, support community policing, and refrain from mob violence.

Residents expressed confidence that the new station will help curb crime and promote peace.
