Rep. Rugie Barry Breaks Ground For Police Station In District #1

In an effort to strengthen the Liberia National Police’s fight against crime within the Township of Louisiana, Lower Montserrado County, Montserrado County’s district #1 Representative, Rugie Yatu Barry, in collaboration with local authorities have embarked on the construction of a modern police station in the Township of Louisiana.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Representative Barry expressed her desire to contribute her quota to the safety and security of her constituents.

Also Speaking on behalf of the Inspector General of Police, Gregory O.W. Coleman, Deputy Inspector General of Police for Administration, William K. Mulbah, lauded the farsightedness of Representative Barry in enhancing the provision of security within the township.

In a joyous mood, DIGP William K. Mulbah assured the residents of the Township that the administration of the Liberia National Police (LNP) will fully furnish the station and provide adequate manpower and logistical support to curtail criminal activities within that part of Montserrado County.

The ceremony, which took place on January 28, 2025 at the Louisiana Town Hall, was graced by students from a number of institutions within the township, youth organizations and prominent residents of the township.
