The African Liberation League (ALL) says it has, as of today, made no commitment yet to support any of the two political parties in the run-off election slated for November 14, 2023; as such, any attempt to use the institution’s name for selfish political reason will be met with a very strong rebuttal.

The Secretary General of ALL, Carlos Tingban Edison, in a release issued over the weekend said, “No individual leader has the right, authority or whatsoever to commit our party to any arrangement, especially doing so without the full knowledge of the structural organ (s) responsible for such.”

Edison noted, “There is an un-substantiable rumor spreading across all quarters of our political sphere that ALL has agreed to support a specific party in the run-up election and is therefore poised to jointly have an endorsement today by noon, along with other parties, which we don’t know.

“I therefore want to categorically and unapologetically make it emphatically clear to the public that such information is false and misleading. It is a clear political machination meant to give undue political relevance and advantage to the carrier of such diabolical lie.”

The party therefore asked all of its national, county, district leaderships as well as candidates and supporters to not be carried away by the noisy info which has its root only in the world of myth.

The release quoted Secretary General Edison as saying, “The African Liberation League will in the soonest possible time be making a determination on who she supports in the run-up election. Until then, please consider all other information concerning the party’s agreement to support as an impossible venture.”
