In a heartbreaking incident Wednesday, November 22, 2023, a young Liberian student, Mo Sheriff, studying in Rwanda, allegedly tragically took his own life in his residence.
Mo Sheriff, known within the academic community for his dedication and involvement, has left his peers and educators shocked and deeply saddened by this sudden loss.
The Hot Pepper was informed by a colleague of the deceased that they rushed on the scene and quickly informed the sector commander, and a team of police and Rwanda Investigation Bureau (RIB) officers arrived and primarily conducted over four hours of thorough investigation at the vicinity.
Meanwhile, the remains of Mo is said to have been taken to the police hospital in Kacyiru for postmortem, a medical examination, and further investigation to find out factors that led to his death.
