The University of Liberia (UL) administration has announced that the University of Liberia will reopen on Monday, September 8, 2025, for normal academic activities.

According to a UL press release, on the same day the Vice President for Academic Affairs will circulate a revised academic calendar for the semester.

According to the release, new student orientation for entering students and transfers will begin on Wednesday, September 10, with information forthcoming from the Vice President for Student Affairs. “Classes are expected to resume on Monday, September 15, which will be confirmed on or before Friday, September 12,” the release observed.

Meanwhile, the UL, under the leadership of Dr. Layli Maparyan as President, has welcomed all new and returning students and, at the same time, advised all students to revert to official UL communications outlets and platforms for all information regarding the revised academic semester.
