It is a global understanding and a vivid uncompromising opposition that crime does not pay, and those who find profound comfort sustaining themselves on the stain of crime are bound to feel the full weight of the law in any civilized society where the law is not short-circuited to appease individuals, no matter the influence they wheel.

This salient creed dubbed a nation of law and not of men continues to play a pivotal role without being cowed, especially in more proliferate democratic nations. Against this backdrop, the United States Government has deported ten (10) Liberians to their country of origin after being charged and convicted of various crimes.

According to information gathered from the Liberia Immigration Service (LIS), the deportees were charged with numerous crimes, ranging from aggravated assault, attempt to commit sex assault, sex assault, assault to robbery, firearm/drug trafficking, among other crimes committed during their stay in the United States of America.
