The United States government on Thursday, March 14, 2024 donated two thousand sets of uniforms to the Liberia National Police (LNP).

Making the presentation Thursday, the head of the International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Association (INL), Sally Schniegel, said the donation is the US government’s way of enhancing officers’ appearance while carrying out their law enforcement duties.

Schniegel used the occasion to applaud the LNP for its diligent services, and urged the police administration to continue to impartially discharge their duties and responsibilities.

Receiving the uniform on behalf of the LNP, IG Gregory Coleman applauded the US government for its donation, and promised to ensure that officers will continue to remain professional in the discharge of their law enforcement duties while wearing their uniform.

IG Coleman re-emphasized his commitment to upholding the fundamental rights of citizens and impartially discharging the rule of law.

He expressed appreciation to the US government for always supporting the work of the Liberia National Police (LNP), and its regular follow-ups in ensuring that rights are respected and the law is impartially discharged.

The donation, IG Coleman stated, will enhance the decent appearance of officers while performing their duties across the country.
