Veteran journalist, Elder Elijah Tamba Bundoo, will on Saturday, July 18, 2026 be laid to rest at the St. Moses Evergreen Cemetery, Dorley-la Town, Bomi County.
Elder Bundoo passed off on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 after a protracted period of illness. He died at 80.
Born on May 3, 1946, Elder Bundoo lived a life of service, integrity and dedication to God, family and country. He was a distinguished communicator and a veteran Kissi radio announcer, whose voice became familiar to many listeners across Liberia and beyond.
Throughout his professional career, he rendered invaluable services to the Ministry of Information, Liberia Broadcasting System (LBS), United Insurance Company of Liberia, Star Radio, and Radio Veritas.
Through broadcasting and public service, he made significant contributions to information dissemination, cultural preservation and national development.
Elder Bundoo leaves to mourn Elder Martha Bundoo, Ma Kumba Bundoo, several children, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives, friends, associates, and loved ones in and out of Liberia whose lives were touched by his wisdom, kindness and dedication.
Meanwhile, the Hot Pepper family joins other well-meaning Liberians to express condolences to the Bundoo family, and urged them to take solace in the Lord.
