Speaking with a team of journalists at the CDA headquarters, 72nd, SKD Boulevard, Paynesville City outside of Monrovia, Teah noted that the staff capacity development initiative was organized by her and the administrative team of the CDA to improve staff performance in support of the Ministry of Agriculture’s Smallholder Transformation and Agribusiness Revitalization Project (STAR-P).

She said the objective of STAR-P is to increase agriculture productivity and commercialization of smallholder farmers for rice, oil palm and horticulture value chains in nine of the fifteen counties of Liberia.

The CDA boss stated that the staff capacity development program involved improving productivity and market access for smallholder farmers and agri-enterprises for rubber, cassava, piggery and vegetable value chains in selected counties in Liberia.
