Sheikh Kouyateh, an independent presidential hopeful in the 2023 general elections slated October 10, 2023, has said that his leadership at the level of the presidency will embark on major transformational change in Liberia. “I’m coming to rebrand every segment of the Liberian society,” he said.

Kouyateh said his leadership was designed to replace poor leadership with a trustworthy government for the people of Liberia.

According to him, he is coming to the presidential race with competence and best leadership practices accepted worldwide. He noted that his leadership will provide transparency in all its functions.

The independent presidential hopeful promised to put Liberia back on the map of economic growth and developments as is among countries in the West African region.

Commenting on his agenda, he said his leadership will provide more jobs, access to quality education, good healthcare delivery, social justice, human rights, security and foreign policy for Liberians.

According to him, he envisions a Liberia that will be more prosperous, equitable and peaceful during his leadership.

The presidential hopeful explained that his leadership will also provide opportunities for all, regardless of status.

Kouyateh spoke on a wide range of national issues confronting the forward march of Liberia, but ended as saying that His leadership will develop a comprehensive social framework to eradicate poverty from amongst Liberians.

According to statistics, poor people are in the majority group in Liberia due to bad governance.
