The Principal of Miracle Academy International School, Soul Clinic community, Emmet Z. Duogbay, over the weekend lamented the lack of support from government to private schools in the country.

According to the Principal Duogbay, past and present government administrations do not give subsidy to private schools, but only caters to a few private schools in the country.

“Is the government selective?” he wondered, underscoring that all the private schools are contributing toward the educational system.

Principal Duogbay called on the government to see reason to subsidize private schools in order to reduce school fees for parents who cannot afford to send their children to school.

Historicizing his institution, Principal Duogbay said the Miracle Academy International School was established in 2022 with qualified teachers and a straight principle of not accepting students without proper documents from their previous schools.

He stated that he has been in the teaching field for over 15 years, and called on school administrators to ensure that students receive quality education, in contrast to only running their schools as business entities.

The principal disclosed that they offer scholarships, academic, church, football and kickball, to deserving students.
