Artgeo Foundation Donates Medication Boxes To Health Facilities In Bong

Several health facilities in district #6, Bong County, have benefited from a medical distribution from Artgeo Foundation Incorporated.

   Artgeo Foundation Inc. has provided 27,000 doses of Albendazole, 400 mg chewable tables for persons under 12—59 months, quality 1,000 with 27 bottles enough for 13,500 beneficiaries of the district. 

   According to the foundation’s management, 510,300 doses of Multivitamins for pregnant women, quality 180 and 2,835 bottles were distributed to benefit 2,835 people.

   The foundation also provided 20,000 doses of Vitamin A, 100,000 IU for children under 6—11 months, quality 500, 40 bottles enough for 20,000 beneficiaries.

   In addition to the Artgeo Foundation Incorporated’s recent distribution in central Liberia, 27,000 doses of Vitamin “A”, 200,000 IU for persons under the range of 12—59 months, quality 500 fifty-four (54) bottles enough were  distributed to benefit 13,500 persons across district #6, Bong County.

  The foundation’s primary objective is to provide solution to aid problems confronting the Liberian society, especially the health sector of Liberia. Its goal is to buttress the government in addressing the health needs of the Liberian people. The Artgeo Foundation has been around for four years now. They oftentimes provide free rural medical supplies to health centers in counties they visit. Their donation is usually done in the county based on assessment of the needs of the people of the county.

   Currently, the foundation is being managed by Arthur Kortor, Executive Director, and David Forkpa, Program Manager.

   The donation was made possible through the hands of Vitamin Angles from the United States of America, a major part of Artgeo Foundation Incorporated.
