The General Superintendent of the Faith Mission Temple International, Bishop Dr. Jerry C. M. Yarpa, has called on Margibians to massively vote for President George Weah in the pending presidential run-off elections; Cynthia Quinisier reports.

According to Bishop Yarpa, he was quite taken aback by the result of votes obtained by President Weah in the first round of the elections from Margibi County, and is thus stirring up all citizens of Margibi County to, this time around, show gratitude for his numerous developmental initiatives by overwhelmingly voting for him for a second six-year term.

Bishop Yarpa, who was quoted as speaking in his capacity as senior citizen of the county, called the conscious attention of Margibi citizens to take a cue from a now famous song sung by a baby citizen of the county, describing President Weah as “Heaven Sent”, a title the prelate says truly represents the President.

Meanwhile, the former Assistant Information Minister further called the attention of citizens of Margibi to the on-going ELWA intersection-to-RIA Highway road construction, as a milestone project for which the President should be preferred above former Vice President Boakai.

In continuation, Bishop Yarpa quoted a Ghanaian minister, Prophet Ayodele, who referred to President Weah as “heaven sent”, confirming the President as a “God-chosen” leader for Liberia, who will prosper Liberia, and not opposition.

In a grateful tone, the prelate thanked every citizen of Pleebo Sodoken District, Maryland County, for turning out en mass to vote for the President and the Speaker, but frowned at the involvement of the “country devil” in the district’s electoral process.

Bishop Dr. Yarpa then called on the citizens of the district to remain peaceful and law-abiding as the National Elections Commission (NEC) continues with its hearing in the complaint filed by House Speaker Dr. Bhofal Chambers.
