The Liberia Political Centrism Movement (LPCM) will officially begin its nationwide activities on Saturday, November 22, 2025, with a peace march and formal in-door ceremony in Monrovia.

In a statement approved by its Chairman, Cllr. Kanio Bai Gbala, LPCM announced that the day-long program will kick off with a symbolic “March for Peace and Consciousness” before transitioning to an in-door gathering at the Monrovia Christian Fellowship in Sinkor.

The movement says the launch is expected to draw supporters, community leaders, civil society actors, and Liberians from across political, social, and generational lines—particularly those seeking a more balanced and unifying approach to national politics.

According to the release, participants are to gather at the Vamoma House intersection in Sinkor at 12:00 noon. From there, they will proceed in an organized procession through parts of central Sinkor, heading toward the Monrovia Christian Fellowship on 9th Street, where the official ceremony is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m.

LPCM is urging attendees to appear in Centrism-branded T-shirts to project a cohesive visual identity and reinforce public awareness of the movement’s message. Organizers emphasized that this collective show of support is essential as the country continues to confront political polarization and divisive rhetoric.

The launch will be held under the theme, “Building an Inclusive Liberia for All, Void of Political Orientation”. LPCM says the day marks a significant point in its emergence as a centrist platform committed to bridging divides and promoting unity.

At the heart of the movement’s mission is the advancement of peace, constructive political engagement, and national cohesion—values Chairman Gbala says resonate with Liberians who desire a calmer, more issues-driven political environment.

He noted that the march is not just ceremonial but also serves as a public sensitization effort aimed at highlighting LPCM’s foundational principles of inclusivity and moderation.

During the in-door session, the movement is expected to present its broader vision, key strategic objectives, governance framework, and long-term national engagement plan. Highlights will include presentations on the Centrism ideology, keynote remarks, and calls for citizens to actively participate as LPCM moves into full operation.

Cllr. Gbala, a prominent Liberian lawyer and Assistant Professor at the Louis Arthur Grimes School of Law, described the launch as a “historical milestone” for a movement seeking to prioritize Liberia’s collective stability and development over partisan divides.

He emphasized that LPCM’s doors remain open to all Liberians willing to champion a peaceful, inclusive, and forward-moving nation.
