Citizens of electoral district #13, Montserrado County, are gearing up in their numbers to storm the pre-election campaign launch of Wilmot Smith, slated for August 24, 2023.

In an exclusive interview with some supporters, friends, sympathizers and well-wishers, they stated that they are ready and prepared to support the legislative ambition of Representative-candidate Smith. They disclosed that their support to Smith’s legislative ambition is because he is up to the task to represent the citizens of electoral district #13, Montserrado County.

The constituents of district #13 indicated that, among all of the candidates vying for the district’s seat, education and work experience-wise none of them can be compared to Smith.

According to them, for now Representative-candidate Wilmot Smith is the face of the district, and this is the reason they are moving from door to door, house to house encouraging first-time voters and those who have been voting to attend the pre-campaign launch of Representative hopeful, Wilmot Smith.

“Mr. Smith is a real son of district#13 Montserrado County,” they said.

According to them, Representative-candidate Smith has impacted many people across district #13, and some of them are making headways in the society.

Smith has over the years been at the frontline speaking in the interest of the citizens of district #13. He is contesting as an independent candidate in the election, and most of his supporters are confident of his victory over incumbent Representative Edward P. Flomo because of Representative Flomo’s allegedly poor leadership since he got elected to the position in 2017.

It can be recalled that in 2005 Representative-candidate Wilmot Smith contested against incumbent Montserrado County Senator, Saah Joseph, for the same seat and was defeated.
