The President of the University of Liberia (UL), Prof. Dr. Layli Maparyan, has led a high-power UL Management Team on a one-day working visit to the University’s David A. Stratz-Sinje Technical and Vocational College in Sinje, Grand Cape Mount County, western Liberia.
During the visit, Dr. Maparyan toured the college’s facilities, including the academic buildings and classrooms, dormitories for the students, libraries, laboratories, and offices.
Dr. Maparyan and team later held separate meetings with authorities of the college on the advancement of the academic programs and other issues relative to the growth and development of the college.
Stratz-Sinje Technical and Vocational College was founded in 2012 by the late American philanthropist, David A. Stratz, to respond to the increasing demand for higher education in Grand Cape Mount, Bomi, and Gbarpolu counties.
Other students from neighboring Sierra have also gained admission to the college in recent years.
