It was held at the French Institute Compound, Mamba Point, and climaxed with entertainment and interactions among ambassadors and other dignitaries.

During the one-day event, the Charge D’ Affairs of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco, Lahoocine Rahmooni, said the celebration of Francophone countries through their embassies in Liberia is a unique celebration to foster close ties and cooperation among diplomats residing in Monrovia.

Rahmooni stated that it is good for Africans to share their experiences to strengthen the socio-economic development of the African Continent.

He asserted that their special dishes at the end of the celebration demonstrated the sign of unity among Africans from diverse backgrounds.

He maintained that Francophone celebration will go a long way to further strengthen unity among Francophone and Anglophone countries and their peoples on the continent.

Rahmooni underscored the need for Africans to work together in order to transform the development of Africa.

Meanwhile, the daughter of President Joseph Nyuma Boakai who attended the Francophone celebration, Karishma Boakai, said Liberia is a unique country on the Continent of Africa, and President Boakai is seeking to transform the development of Liberia for the next generation.

Boakai stated that the transformation of Liberia is now, and President Boakai is working hard to ensure that the socio-economic development of Liberia is implemented under his leadership.

She expressed appreciation to the French embassy for organizing the Francophone celebration in Liberia, noting that Liberia is an amazing nation.
