In Cocoa Truck Accident: Six Reported Dead

Six persons are reported dead after a cocoa truck from Nimba to Monrovia ran off the road on the famous Gbarkor Hill in Salala District.

    According to eyewitnesses, the truck was running at an excessive speed when the driver lost control, leaving him dead along with five other persons.

   Four bodies have been recovered, while two are still under the truck.    One person is said to have survived, but is reportedly in a critical condition after being beaten by criminals who attempted taking away some of the goods on the truck.
