Min. Piah Envisages Best For Liberians Under Boakai Administration

Minister of Information, Cultural Affairs, and Tourism, Jerolinmek Matthew Piah, says the government remains steadfast in ensuring that Liberians get the best under President Boakai’s leadership.

Speaking during the Ministry of Information’s regular press briefing on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 Minister Piah recounted the achievements in the education sector, such as the provision of armchairs for public schools and the continuation of the school feeding program to keep students focused.

According to him, “Education is key to nation-building, and our children deserve better. The Boakai administration will improve the learning system.”

He highlighted significant achievements under President Joseph Boakai’s administration, emphasizing progress in governance, education, healthcare, and infrastructure.

“This is my responsibility: to explain the SONA to Liberians who may not have had the opportunity to hear the President’s message yesterday,”

The President’s address highlighted strides in economic growth, transparency, accountability, and inclusive governance. He reiterated his administration’s resolve to tackle pressing challenges and foster national progress.

Minister Piah also pointed to the administration’s road construction projects, which aim to enhance connectivity and drive economic development.

The Boakai administration has also made significant progress in digital transformation, with over 10,000 Liberians trained under the Digital Transformation Program across all 15 counties.

He made emphasis on education, healthcare, infrastructure, and digital transformation, signaling a strong commitment to improving the lives of all Liberians.
